Gem Silica, Or Botryoidal Chrysocolla ranges in hardness from 2.5 to 7.0 on the mohs scale, so can be brittle. So best to keep it in a safe place. The Aqua Blues in this formation of Chrysocolla is outstanding. Sometimes Malachite a forest green mineral can be present.
