Purple Anhydrite is a beautiful and highly sought-after stone that is incredibly rare. The material from Madagascar is very difficult to obtain and is never available in large quantities. Madagascan Anhydrite varies in purple colour intensity and is often found in association with peach Calcite and/or Chrome Diopside. Anhydrite is also known as purple Angelite. It is hard to obtain, so we feel very lucky to have it available.
